Boxes for a shop, pallets for a warehouse
Same database, two presentations. Choose during setup and change your mind whenever you like — there is no migration and nothing to re-enter.
In boxes mode the app talks about stock in a location: how many units of this product sit in A-04-2. Nobody sees the word pallet, nobody types an SSCC, and the screens stay short. It is the right shape for a shop backroom or a workshop.
In pallets mode the same stock is shown as what it physically is: pallets, each with its 18-digit SSCC, its lot, its expiry date and its position. That is what a warehouse that receives and ships whole units needs, and what makes traceability per unit possible.
The switch is a setting, not a migration. Underneath, stock always lives on pallets; boxes mode simply hides the ones you never asked for and generates their codes internally. Turning it on or off changes the words on the screen and nothing about your data.
